KISS THE GLOBE - THINK, LAUGH, ACT

On 23 and 24 November 2024, the event KISS THE GLOBE will take place for the first time at GLOBE WIEN. The initiative of Dr. Stephanie Kail and the veterinarian Mag. Nicola Jöstl is planned as an annual event and, with the help of experts, aims to show the current state of our planet, allay fears, address questions about the future and present scientific approaches that are of crucial importance for a future worth living. The focus is on innovative solutions, intensive networking, stimulating discussions and a lively exchange with experts.

Two days full of exciting content and topics. Look forward to a great program, with late night shows, science, comedy and great music. As well as an all-day program for Generation Z.

FIRST DAY

LATE-NIGHT SHOW

The highlight is the emotionally charged late-night show under the motto Think, Laugh, Act! Four comedians enter into an entertaining dialogue with experts to convey complex scientific topics in an entertaining and understandable way. The question: How can we create a sustainable and livable future? Experience innovative solutions, intensive networking, stimulating discussions and a lively exchange with experts from science, medicine and research.

24.NOV

SECOND DAY

GEN-Z DAY

GEN Z DAY offers a full-day program: in the morning for children and young people aged 9 to 14 and in the afternoon for young adults aged 14 to 20.

With free admission, children and young people can have their say, participate in research and discover solutions. The highlight is the final of a poetry slam competition in which students from ten different schools compete against each other. The day is organized through collaboration with the Natural History Museum, the Architecture Center, the MUMOK, the World Climate Game and Future Works, the Climate Knowledge Workshop, as well as various creative LABS and HUBS for sustainability and development.
